What can be better than chocolate flavoured scones added on with a mix of both dark and milk chocolate chips? A chocoholic would definitely go GAGA over this, I kid you not! :P
Double Chocolate Scones

Ingredients:
(A)
150ml milk
150ml cream
3 tbsp of Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
1 egg
(B)
3 cups self-raising flour
2 tbsp caster sugar
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
Method:
1) Preheat oven to 200°C. Line large flat oven tray with baking paper.
2) Whisk milk, cream, chocolate syrup and egg together until well combined.
3) Combine flour, sugar, and chocolate chips in a large bowl. Add milk mixture and stir gently to a soft dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until dough comes together.
4) Press dough out to 2cm-thick. Cut scones from dough and place onto tray flat-side up. Press dough together gently and repeat using the remaining dough.
5) Brush the tops with milk and sprinkle with a little sugar. Bake 12-15 minutes until golden and well risen.
6) Serve warm with clotted cream! Oh, so delicious~
Clotted Cream
Recipe by The Bakeanista
Ingredients:
240 ml thickened cream
120g mascarpone
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp caster sugar
Method:
Beat thickened cream and mascarpone until incorporated, then add sugar and vanilla. Continue beating until mixture appears firm and looks like whipped cream. If not using straight, remember to refrigerate cream! ;)
